Are all online loan providers the same?

Not all loan providers adhere to the standards and best practices of the CFSA and/or follow state regulations properly. Be sure to ask about the standards and practices of any financial service providers you do business with, and be sure to ask for full disclosure of all terms and conditions. Also, consider the provider’s measures for your security, whether online or at their store.

Should I be wary of any providers?

The best way to feel secure about your online payday loan provider is to make sure the provider meets the following set of criteria:

  • You can easily find a full disclosure of all their terms and conditions.
  • The provider has a physical address and phone number, as well as an email address. You should never just rely on an email address for contact information.
  • The online payday loan provider follows the financial laws and regulations of the state where you reside.
  • Most importantly, your online payday loan provider should be a member of CFSA.

Who is the CFSA and why is it so important?

The Community Financial Services Association (CFSA) is the payday loan industry’s national trade group. The CFSA helps to promote appropriate consumer protections, enforce privacy and maintain exceptional professionalism. Check ‘n Go is a founding member, and Check ‘n Go’s leadership serves as active participants on the Board of Directors. Check ‘n Go adheres to, and in fact helped write, the CFSA Best Practices Guidelines, including principles that encourage full disclosure, truthful advertising and consumer responsibility.

How can I get a loan with bad credit?

We understand how frustrating it can be to try and obtain a loan with bad credit. Many loans depend upon credit scores. However, you have other options to consider besides loans offered by banks and other traditional lenders. For example, if you have a checking account and can show a recent payroll stub from your job, you may qualify for a short-term payday loan or cash advance. Payday loans, also known as cash advances, are unsecured and are offered in smaller amounts of money, allowing you to handle unexpected expenses until your next payday. Talk to one of our associates at a Check ‘n Go location to find out if you qualify for one of our loan products. The process is simple and quick. In most cases, you can find out if you are approved within a short period of time. Fill out an application online or at one of our convenient locations to get started.

How do I get a personal loan with bad credit?

Check `n Go has loan options that could be the right fit if you have bad credit or if you have been previously turned down by banks and other traditional lenders. We offer a variety of personal loan products, including payday loans (also known as cash advances), which may be approved based on other factors besides just credit history. You may be approved for one of these loans if you can show a government-issued photo ID and provide active checking account information and proof of income. Who will give me a loan with bad credit?

Many people run into unexpected situations that result in a poor credit history. If you have bad credit, traditional lenders may consider you a high-risk prospect until you build up your credit score. The good news is, it may still be possible for you to get a loan – even if another lender has already turned you down.

If you’re facing an unexpected money shortage, you may qualify for a short-term loan to help make ends meet. Where can I get a money order?

If you don’t have a checking account or have run out of checks, you may need a short-term way to pay bills or other expenses. A money order is a great solution. Like checks, money orders are widely accepted as a secure form of payment.

You can get a money order at post offices, banks, credit unions and at stores that offer financial services. Some banks and credit unions provide money orders to their account holders without charging a fee. In those cases, you would only be required to pay the face value of the money order itself. Otherwise, expect to pay the face value of the money order plus a fee. At Check `n Go, the fee for a money order is 99 cents or less!

If you should lose or damage a money order, immediately notify the issuer. You should be able to have the money order replaced in exchange for a fee.
