Our team in Cathedral City, CA strives to create a great experience for every customer. Store Manager, Travis, says, “We create a positive, friendly environment and go the distance for each customer.”
Travis says that people come to the store for lots of different reasons … they need to pay for unexpected car troubles, loss of hours at work or they are short on money before their payday. He and the team like that they can be there for the customer and help them get the money they need to cover these unexpected expenses. “I like the idea that when someone comes into our store they are typically financially stressed and when they walk out, they know they’ve got it covered.”
The team likes to keep it personal. They make a point to remember names, faces and learn about what is going on each customers’ life. Travis says, “We hear their stories, and they hear ours.” He thinks the strong relationships that they’ve built is what keeps customers coming back when they have a need.
Each week, the team makes a point to reflect on the customers they were able to help. One recent customer that stands out is Sally*. Sally was a returning customer and was always great to work with. She had also referred a few of her friends and neighbors. When she pulled up, Travis could tell that something wasn’t right. She came into the store in tears and said the she needed money to help with medical treatments for her cat. They had talked about their love for animals in the past and Travis knew the cat was like another family member to Sally. Sally qualified for The Choice Loan and was able to get the money she needed to cover the treatments. This is a good example of how the store goes the distance for each customer.
