Remember that emotional health is just as important as physical or financial health, and if you ever feel too overwhelmed, there's always someone to turn to. There are many support groups or one-on-one counselors available for those who are learning to live with major illnesses.
Many of these websites and others will also offer advice on coping emotionally, and can help you organize those feelings. Along with support from your family and doctor, you CAN take control of all aspects of the situation.
A free, professional nonprofit organization providing both emotional and financial support to those with cancer, their caregivers, family and friends. CancerCare Assist has been providing financial aid, including social workers and case management, for over 60 years.

The National Marrow Donor Program (www.marrow.org)
The NMDP offers financial assistance to those searching for a donor through the NMDP registry, and for some post-transplant expenses.
Natitional Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (www.canceradvocacy.org)
The NCCS is the oldest survivor-led cancer advocacy organization in the United States, advocating for quality cancer care for all Americans and empowering cancer survivors. They provide an excellent, searchable database of both therapeutic and financial assistance.
