Tips for Affordable Fitness
For most of us, physical fitness used to come pretty naturally. As school children we may have been told that running, jumping rope, and throwing and kicking balls were all good for us, but back then we just thought of it as fun. Physical fitness was simply playtime, and moving around was just a big part of what happened every day. Best of all, our physical fitness plan was completely free.
In our society, play eventually becomes replaced by sedentary activity. Most of us work in environments that require us to sit all day; becoming an adult seems to mean becoming less and less active. In addition, the stress and busy nature of our lives may make eating the right kinds of food and getting the rest we need seem like difficult goals to achieve.
But accepting that definition of adult just isn't the healthy choice to make. Staying healthy and physically fit may seem like a chore because of busy schedules and tight budgets, but exercising and eating right shouldn't require a big investment in either time or money.
By keeping your body healthy and strong while being smart about preventative care, even the busiest of us can be in great shape. Remember, the healthiest life is the foundation of a well-lived life — it's never too late to get started.
